Bonnie Maybeline McDuffey Frazier

Bonnie Maybeline McDuffey Frazier, 87 stepped into her Heavenly home on May 5, 2023. Bonnie passed away surrounded by family at Plantation Manor, McCalla, AL. Bonnie was born on February 1, 1936 in Birmingham, AL. She was the youngest and only daughter in family of 7 children.

She will always be remembered by her loving words anytime you visited her throughout her life “I love you forever and ever Amen.”

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Angus (Pop) and Minerva McDuffey, her husband James Frazier, former husband Henry (HB) Franklin, daughter Lena Loftis, grandson Seth Franklin, brothers Rufus, Paul (Gwen), Skip, Rayburn (Mary) and Willard McDuffey.

Survived by son Mark (Bonita) Franklin, daughter Donna (David) Duren, son-in-law Gary Loftis. Sister-in-laws Georgia Faye and Rae McDuffey.

Grandchildren Kara (Matt) Reid, Kimberly Franklin, Gary Allen (Angie) Loftis, Joe (Michelle) Loftis, Rachel (Ricky) Krause.

Great grandchildren Darby and Bodie Reid, Ryan (Autumn) Loftis, Amber (Jake) Lee, Kristian Ward, Kasper and Angel Loftis, Austin Barrett, Jordan Shir, Kythan Sharpton.

Family would like to thank Plantation Manor and Southeast Hospice for the loving care they showed our precious loved one.

In lieu of flowers the family asks (request) memorial donations be made to your favorite charity in her honor.

A Celebration of Life for Bonnie with be held on Sunday May 21, 2023, 3pm at Fultondale First Baptist Church, 409 Main Street, Fultondale, AL 35068 Pastor Mark Gainey presiding.

Bonnie’s ashes will be scattered at a private ceremony according to her wishes at a later date.
