On Saturday, July 9, 2022, Donna Jean Cobb Eddings passed away at age 69. She was surrounded by family and passed peacefully. Donna was born on December 8, 1952 at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma to Grady and Barbara (Brown) Cobb. She graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1971. She went on to receive her nursing degree and spent many years as a nurse at Russell Hospital Pediatric Unit, Brown Nursing Home, and Bill Nichols State Veteran Home. Donna had a passion for gardening and was a Master Gardener. She was an avid reader and baker. She was famous for her Granny Cakes. She was an animal lover and left behind her beloved dog Odie and two cats Bob and Jack. She was known for her quick wit, straightforward attitude, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Donna was preceded in death by her father Grady Cobb and her husband Harold Eddings. She is survived by her mother Barbara Keeton, her sister Pam (Ray) Dunn, her two daughters Amanda (Lee) Biddle and Blair Eddings, her granddaughter Stella Biddle, nephew Corey Dunn, and many members of her extended family. A memorial service and scattering of her ashes will take place at a later date on Lake Martin in the same location as her beloved husband Harold.
