Gary Arthur Hardy

Gary Arthur Hardy of Goodwater passed away on March 23, 2023 at his residence. He was on Hospice and had several medical problems.
Gary was born on December 21, 1966 to Robert Wayne and Beverly Ann Stripe Hardy. He had some college technical school and was a restaurant cook for many years before he got sick. In 1998, Gary met his wife Karen and they were married on March 22, 1999 in Talladega Alabama. Gary is preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Hardy, his mother Beverly Ann Hardy, his sister, SueAnn Taylor, and his stepson Jeremy Wayne Stage. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karen Hardy, his sister, Teresa Ward, his stepson Jason (Elizabeth) Stage, his stepdaughter Teresa Mott and his five grandsons, Jarek Stage, Jae Shon Stage, Nicolas Mott, Jaedon Stage and Jericho Stage and many nieces and nephews. Gary did not want to have a funeral or memorial service. We plan to scatter his ashes at a later date and will let everyone know when we set it up. Special thanks to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice from Sylacauga for helping to take care of Gary in his final weeks.
