Henry Martin Hoffmeyer lll  - May 7, 1955 - March 16, 2023
Marty was born at Fort Meade Army Hospital to Henry Martin & June Armstrong Hoffmeyer. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Martin Hoffmeyer ll. He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Mayfield Hoffmeyer, daughter Christie Chappell/Alex, stepdaughter Christa Mayfield/Judy. Slocum also, his mother June, sister Darlene Wood/Jim, brothers Raymond & Charles and mother-in-law Dorothy Shields. Marty will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Marty never met a stranger and considered everyone he met a friend for life. Quite simply, he loved everyone. Birmingham Vulcans Rugby was a passion of his and he was proud to be a member of the "Old Boys Club". He remained friends with his team mates and high school pals to the very end. The world was a better place with Marty in it so a celebration of his life will be held at his home from 3-6 PM on Sunday May 7, 2023.
