Janet Elizabeth Newport

Janet Elizabeth Newport, 66 of Birmingham AL passed away peacefully at home on December 6 th , 2022.
Janet was born on April 15 th , 1956, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Gerald Deneau and Irene Whittle Deneau.
The family relocated to Birmingham when Janet was nine. She was preceded in death by both her
parents. Janet is survived by her husband, Marshall L Newport and her sisters, Frances A Tieszen
(Leland), and Leslie C Cochrane (Jim). Also, niece Catherine Cochrane and nephew Lee Cochrane.
Visitation will be at Woodlawn Campus of Church of the Highlands, 4930 Messer Airport Hwy,
Birmingham AL 35212, Saturday December 17 th 2022 from 2pm till 4 pm. A short service for family and
friends will be held at the conclusion of visitation.
