Joey Lee Copeland

On Saturday, July 15th Joey Lee Copeland passed away in a motor vehicle crash not far from his home in Maytown, Alabama. Joey was known to many as fun and adventurous. His love of travel, new experiences, and friends will resonate in the memory of those who knew him. Joey is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Amy Copeland and loving grandfather, James Copeland, Sr. He is survived by his father James Copeland Jr, sisters Jessica Clement & family, Jamie Abelson & family, grandmothers Mary Sue Knight & Joyce Copeland, and many other family members and loving friends. To honor his memory a Celebration of Life will be held in one of his favorite childhood places, Indian Creek Youth Camp- Oakman, Alabama on Saturday August 5th at 10am.
