John Hassell Thigpen

John Hassell Thigpen age 71 passed away January 17, 2023 at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hassell and Anita Thigpen, grandparents Luther and Thelma Smith and John and Cora Thigpen.
He was survived by his brother Jimmy Thigpen and sisters Patricia Thigpen and Jan Dickey Smith. Nephew Nick (Brittney) Dickey and Niece Bethany (JD) Robinson. Great nephews Tucker Robinson and Lublin Wetzel. Also his furry companion Buddy.
Johnny graduated from Tuscaloosa County High in 1969 and served in the United States Marine Crops during the Vietnam War.
Johnny enjoyed Music, fishing, hunting, reading books and Alabama Football. He will be missed by his family and friends.
