Lonzoe (Lonnie) R. Norwood, Jr.

Lonzoe (Lonnie) R. Norwood, Jr. went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2023 at home with family by his side. Lonnie was born on August 1, 1958 in Port Clinton, Ohio to Lonzoe R. Norwood, Sr. and Lois Norwood. Later his family moved to Alabama.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Kathy Stinnett Norwood, and his children, Aleytys Norwood, Brett (Jessica) Norwood and Christopher Norwood; seven grandchildren, Ethan, Alexander, Emma, Jacob, Owen, Sophia and Josie; two great grandchildren, five brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Lonnie is preceded in death by both parents, brother, Jeff and sister, Susan Guy.

Memorial service will be held at Hepzibah Baptist Church, 20512 Hephzibah Church Road, McCalla, Al 35111, at 2pm, Saturday July 15, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to wife, Kathy Norwood to help with expenses.
