Marlin Douglas "Doug" Willis

Marlin Douglas "Doug" Willis, 63 years old passed away November 27, 2024. Doug was a life-long resident of Bessemer, AL and a graduate of McAdory High School class of 1979. Doug retired from the Birmingham Fire Department and his career as a master plumber. Throughout his life Doug enjoyed fishing, cooking, family, and Alabama football. He leaves behind two daughters, Kendra (Cody) and Kortney (Josh) and four grandchildren who he affectionately referred to as: Addy-bird, Charli-fox, Jack-rabbit and Jensen- Big Man. Doug is also survived by his three brothers, three sisters and several nieces/nephews along with extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by each of his parents, James Monroe Willis, Sr. and Mildred Inez Willis, his sister Denise Willis Dobbs, and nephew Michael "Mickey" Lawson. May you be at peace now, but you'll never be forgotten. M.D.W
