Martha Ann Lemond

Martha Ann Lemond, age 72, from Green Pond, Alabama passed away on December 26, 2022
She is survived by her sisters Cathy Dennis (William), and Amy Fowler (Keith); Nephew Shaun Dennis; Great Nephew Patrick Dennis; Great Niece Whitney Dennis; Godchildren Josh, John and Jordan Junkins, Brynna Esco (Dakota); and her precious dog Sissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Amos J and Martha Lemond, brother-in-law Mark Fowler , and her best friend Carol Howell.
Ann loved helping people. She served on the Green Pond Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a paramedic for Am Serv and NorthStar. When her health would no longer allow her to be a paramedic she began sitting with the elderly. When her own mother became unable to live alone, Ann moved in with her and took care of her until her passing. She was a youth director in her church for many years. She had a great love for helping people. It was her request to be cremated and for her urn to be buried with her parents at Hickman Chapel Cemetery.
