Pearson Keith Tidmore, 66, of Northport, AL passed away January 23, 2023 at home after a brave battle with cancer.
Keith Tidmore was born 10-25-1956 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa, son Jonathan Tidmore (Lindsey) of Northport , AL, son Cody Tidmore (Lori Ann) of Gordo, AL, son Justin Wesley (Jessica) of Pensacola , FL, daughter Lisa Hubbard of Northport, AL, brother Kenny Tidmore (Betty) of Tuscaloosa, AL, sister Charlene Watts (Bobby) of Tuscaloosa, AL, sister Carol Farr (Walter) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren Brylee Tidmore, Brynn Tidmore, Ashton Morris, John Weston Hubbard, Colton Hubbard, Henry Hubbard, Leela Wesley, Emilia Tidmore, Colin Tidmore; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Frank Tidmore, his mother Ada Mae Tidmore and his brother Charles Ellis Tidmore. Keith was a free spirit and full of life. His presence shined through the room. He loved humor and kept a smile on everyone’s face, and full of laughs himself. He loved traveling, especially to the beach, with his loved ones and friends. He loved everything about knives and had a vast array in his collection. Above all that, he had a passion for Jesus. His passion for music was nearly as big. He used it as a virtue to spread the love and word of God. He had a beautiful voice that resonated for decades through the hearts and minds of countless people; including family members, friends, attendees of nursing homes and assisted living, churches, karaoke parties, and anywhere else he could get a microphone or a guitar. He also loved performing at the Tannehill Opry. Over the years he has been a part of many music groups and gospel bands. In the 1980s he sang with the Tidmore Brothers and the Bama Gospel Singers. From 1985-2007 he sang and played with Gospel Harmony. He was in Still Water Creek from 2015 until his death. He was born for Gospel music and God gave him a perfect gift to spread His word. We take pride in knowing that his deeds here on Earth are done and he is now singing in the Angels choir. We would like to thank our church family at Indian Lake Baptist for all of their love and support, as well as past to present employers ST Bunn and Hanna Truck Line. Thank you for your love, support, calls, and visits. Please join us for a celebration of his life on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 5:00pm at the Tannehill Opry.
