Peggy Breaux Kraemer, 70, gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in the arms of her two daughters. She was a native and long time resident of Houma, LA and a recent resident of Gadsden, Alabama. Peggy is survived by her daughters Sherrie Kraemer Smith and husband Jeffrey and Kimberly Klein, fiancé Joseph Stanton, brother Craig Breaux, sister Nancy Breaux, grandchildren Adrianna Lochner, Miriam Klein, Stafford Lochner, Ashley Klein, Nicole Klein and Isabella Klein. Step-granddaughter Hanna Rivera, four great grandchildren Wyndessa Ira Klein, Harley Rivera, Renesmae Rivera and Elijah Rivera. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Stanley James Kraemer, father Rivers A. Breaux Sr, mother Elsie Ira Crowson Breaux, brothers Rivers “Tony” A. Breaux Jr, Robert “Pat” P. Breaux and Charles “Charlie” F. Breaux. With a servant’s heart, Peggy gave of herself to everyone around her as a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, religion teacher, girl scout leader and employee of the Houma Daily Courier throughout her years on this earth. She was a faithful servant of our Lord and loved praying her rosary every day even in the hospital until she went to her heavenly home. The outpouring of support and prayers of friends and family during her final days are a testament to her beautiful soul and the impact she made in so many lives. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, February 3 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Houma, LA from 9am until service time. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11am with burial to follow in church cemetery, laying her ashes to eternal rest with her beloved husband Stanley.
