Roger Steven Burns "Steve"

Roger Steven Burns - "Steve" of West Blocton Alabama Born December 25, 1954, passed away Friday November 11, 2022 at the age of 67.
He is preceded in death by his father William Gordon Burns; paternal grandparents David and Ester Merle Burns; maternal grandparents John and Gera Markham. 
Steve is survived by his mother Ruth Burns; daughter Briannan Burns; loving grandson Knox Jenkins and was awaiting the arrival of another grandchild in May; sisters Yaffa Bernstein, Jenny Allen (James) and Kim Farley (Adrian); brother John "Bubba" Burns.
Steve was an extremely dedicated father, paw paw and son. He loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He was an avid Alabama football fan, loved NASCAR, fishing on the river and spending time in nature. Steve worked in the iron and steel industry, was a stonemason and a very skilled carpenter. 
He will truly be missed by his family and friends. 
A memorial service will be held on Thursday November 17th at 11:00 am at Cremation Center of Birmingham Woodstock Chapel.
